What is CEAN?
CEAN or the Canadian Esophageal Atresia Network is the work of individuals living with esophageal atresia and/or tracheoesophageal fistula. CEAN is working to create a community of individuals with esophageal atresia and/or tracheoesophageal fistula that can offer friendship, encouragement and information to help individuals and families with the difficulties associated with esophageal atresia and tracheoesophageal fistula.
Why should I join CEAN?
Why not? Although you may not feel that there is any way that you can benefit from joining CEAN, you may be able to assist one of our other members or someone newer to the experience of living with esophageal atresia.
How do I join CEAN?
Joining CEAN is as simple as filling out the membership form (CEAN Form). If you don’t have access to a printer or scanner, feel free to send an email to canadianeanetwork@gmail.com including your name and contact information.
What do you do with my information?
CEAN makes an effort to keep all information as private as possible however we cannot guarantee confidentiality. All information is used to make the best possible match between members and their families. When matching families we supply each family with the email address of the other party, beyond that its up to you to make arrangements as to when or how to meet one another.
